PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with the S/WMPO's Public Participation Plan (Adopted June 2008), the Draft FY 2012 ? 2015 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) and the Proposed Amendment - 2011 Long-Range Transportation Plan are available for public review and comment for a period of 45-days beginning on October 7th and ending on November 20, 2011.

In addition of the two aforementioned planning related documents, amendments are being proposed to the S/WMPO's Public Participation Plan. Consistent with the current requirements contained within this Plan, a public review and comment period of 45-days will extend from October 14, 2011 through November 27th, 2011.

Proposed amendments to the FY 2011 and FY 2012 Unified Planning Work Programs will be considered at the upcoming meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee. Consistent with the Organization's Public Participation Plan, a public review period of 45-days will extend from November 1, 2011 to December 15, 2011.

Prior to the adoption of the aforementioned documents, the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) will meet to review these transportation related planning documents, and subsequently make a recommendation to forward to the MPO Council for a Public Hearing and consideration of adoption.

The public is encouraged to attend these open meetings. Information about the upcoming meeting dates of the TAC and MPO Council is located in the Upcoming Meeting section of this webpage. Additionally, a Public Hearing will be scheduled during an upcoming meeting of the MPO Council, which the public is encouraged to attend and provide comments related to the Proposed FY 2012 ? FY 2015 TIP.
